RadiusVision Cat Guard is our reliable solution to monitor and guard against any attempts to steal catalytic converters. This system works in conjunction with our Active Intrusion Detection & Deterrent, including live monitoring with guard and police dispatch.
When someone tries to cut the exhaust, an alert is sent with that vehicle’s unique identifier for the controller to process, which then triggers the alarm and strobe lights on all exterior Active Deterrent Camera Units. Our monitoring center then dispatches police or a security guard. Two-way talk down audio is built into our cameras.
The system does not get triggered by rodents, small animals or weather, eliminating false alarms.

How it Works
Sensors
There are 2 options for the easy-to-install transmitter sensors that clamp onto the exhaust.
Wired version ties into the vehicle’s on-board, 12 volt battery system and draws 1.5 amps over 31 days of operation, causing no battery drain. LiPo battery powered version can run for 90 days before needing to be recharged.
Wireless Communications
This PoE-powered Radio allows sensors to securely communicate back to the controller, cameras, and alarm center. Each radio covers roughly 5,000 square feet and you can add as many radios as required to expand the monitored area.
