Protecting Baytown TX Project Against Sabotage

ExxonMobil

It was reported saboteurs were planning to plant large explosive charges, possibly inside some of the portable toilets on site…

ExxonMobil contacted us a few years ago looking for an off-grid security camera solution to their concern about potential sabotage at their Baytown, TX facility under construction.

They had been alerted that saboteurs were planning to plant large explosive charges, possibly inside some of the portable toilets on site.

They had seventeen groups of portable toilets on this very large job site. Each group had up to a dozen portable toilets.

Our solution provided them with quantity 17, solar powered Mobotix M16 cameras with 512 GB SD storage onboard each camera. We included wide angle lenses that would allow one camera to view a dozen toilets at the same time.

They poured 17 blocks of concrete, each with lifting rings & forklift sleeves for portability, and a 10 foot high 4x4 wooden post to mount the camera and related hardware.

Our systems solved the problem. There were no exploding potties. No shit!
