Customizing Each Camera’s Police Response – Tech Talk #23

RadiusVision can customize how EACH camera trigger is handled by the central station when a human is seen in the video. This can help to reduce false alarms to the police or get the proper company personnel contacted depending on the circumstances.

An example might be a camera that covers the entry gate into the site. If employees are forgetting to disarm the system and getting caught, you may want to change that camera response from “send police” to “call the contact list to verify”. The central station will call you before sending the police and you can decide if the person seen is an employee. All other cameras remain “send police” because the gate camera was not triggered first, as it would be if it was an employee who entered the site and forgot to disarm.
